Paweł Łyskawa – producer and manager, dancer and choreographer. A graduate of the Dance Theatre Department at the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków, he also holds a degree in Cultural Studies from the Jagiellonian University. Together with Eryk Makohon, he co-directs the Krakow Dance Theatre, with which he has been associated for nearly twenty years.

Since 2018, he has collaborated with the Centre for the Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor – Cricoteka, where he curates the year-round dance presentation programme “Rollercoaster”.

He has produced and delivered dozens of events and projects co-financed by municipal, national, Visegrad, and European funds. He develops socially engaged projects that involve diverse age groups and has actively contributed to Kraków’s cultural life for many years. In early 2025, together with the local community, he co-initiated the “Kraków Dance Pact” – a grassroots initiative aimed at strengthening the position of contemporary dance in the city.

He produces performances for the Krakow Dance Theatre as well as for independent artists. He is currently coordinating and implementing the project “Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery” (Creative Europe programme) and is involved in two international consortia focused on inclusivity in the creative sector and the redefinition of European identity. In 2025–2026, he serves as national coordinator of the Polish programme “Art Spaces – Dance”.

In recent years, he has developed his production and management expertise through internships, study visits, and job shadowing at institutions such as Bethlen Téri Színház (Budapest), Ne. Sans Opera and Dance (Vancouver), M Studio (Romania), ZID Theater (Amsterdam), and the Art Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences.

As one of the leaders of Krakow Dance Theatre, he co-develops an organisational model based on international networking, shared infrastructure, and support for independent artists, guided by a “zero-waste” approach to management and production. The organisation supports Polish artists through residencies, festivals, showcases, and international collaborations, aiming to strengthen contemporary dance in Central and Eastern Europe.

Marta Mądry – circus performer, producer, and executive leader based in Wrocław, Poland, with a career spanning over a decade of international stage work and strategic management. Currently serving as the COO of the European Juggling Association (EJA), she oversees the operational stability and quality of the European Juggling Convention (EJC), Europe’s largest annual circus festival, ensuring its successful execution across rotating host countries.

A performer since 2011, Marta has built a diverse international portfolio, performing and teaching across Germany, England, Italy, Czechia, Great Britain, Spain, Austria, and Saudi Arabia. Her artistic excellence has been recognised with multiple awards, including 2nd prizes at the Incydent Polski 2021 [Polish Incident 2021] and Cyrkulacje 2018 [Circulations 2018] contests (for Ex-Libris and her contemporary circus work), and she reached the finals of the Krystallpalast Newcomershow in 2019. She also won 3rd prize in the Aerial Hoop Professional category at the Vertical Fit Championships.

This extensive on-the-ground experience informs her transition into production and organisational leadership. In 2022, she founded Kolektyw Performatywy, an independent arts collective aimed at bringing together performative artists and addressing the limited infrastructure for circus education in Poland. As the head of Fundacja Performatywy, she leads initiatives including work-in-progress presentations, variety festivals, workshops, and performative readings, providing essential platforms for artist experimentation and community building.

Leveraging her background in linguistics and a self-taught journey in object manipulation, aerial arts, and experimental forms, she is currently working to introduce a new immersive theatre entertainment concept from Germany to the Polish market. Her work bridges the gap between artistic practice and operational excellence, dedicated to creating sustainable work opportunities for artists while ensuring the smooth execution of national and cross-border cultural events.

On June 15, the producers will meet representatives of the Polish Institute in Berlin.

From 16 – 17 June, the producers will participate in a Network Meeting by produktionsbande – network performing arts producers & InfoPlus/Dachverband Tanz Deutschland. It is a 1,5-day-long gathering of producers, managers, agents and distributors. The meeting provides a space for shared exchange on current developments in the independent performing arts. Through focused sessions and open discussions, diverse perspectives and positions related to ongoing debates in the field will be explored, alongside potential strategies for addressing current challenges. The gathering is intended to foster deeper dialogue, strengthen connections, and support collective reflection on the evolving landscape of independent performing arts at regional, national, and international levels.

From 18-19 June, the producers will participate in the Forum of the Tanztriennale. The Tanztriennale is a long-standing, recurring event, endorsing a clear vision: to make dance visible, strengthen its position, and recognize it as a practice of social significance in all its aesthetic, stylistic, and cultural diversity. More about the Forum’s programme is available here.

The Focus on producers – study visits for professionals project is co-financed under the Kultura inspirująca 2026–2027 program with funding from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.
